Psychedelic Supporter Training for Non-clinical Practitioners
This introductory weekend series is designed to support practitioners from a variety of backgrounds in the allied healthcare professions and healing arts. Participants can purchase a ticket for the one-day workshop on Friday Sept 22nd in a beautiful, spacious indoor/outdoor setting in Lyons, CO and add the optional experiential on Saturday Sept 23rd. The add-on includes 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) camping on the land in Lyons. Overnight guests will need to bring all their own camping supplies.
The Friday one-day workshop covers:
Essential sitting skills
Components of set and setting to support a safe and ethical psychedelic journey
Screening protocols for non-licensed practitioners so that you may know when to refer out to other practitioners and how to ethically stay within your role as a sitter or space holder for psychedelic journeys
The ethics of psychedelic care, risks, and avoiding harm
The importance of consultation, and
The current legal landscape in Colorado for non-licensed practitioners in the allied health or healing arts.
The workshop is open to practitioners from all varieties of backgrounds, including yoga instructors, life coaches, massage therapists, meditation teachers, doulas, energy workers, reiki practitioners, CNA’s, EMT’s, and both early and late career practitioners.
Participants may purchase a ticket now for the one-day workshop, held from 9am to 6pm on Friday Sept 22nd.
*Spaces are limited for the experiential overnight component that includes additional teaching on intention setting, opportunities for 1:1 intuitive and life coaching, a guided group ceremony with sacred earth medicine, and an integration circle. If interested in the experiential add-on, please purchase your ticket for the workshop and let us know in your registration form that you would like to be screened for the experiential add-on and we will contact you to begin that process. The additional cost for the extended experiential weekend is $649, with an earlybird discount of $50 if you reserve your space before June 14th.
